The Gunslinger- Teakwood & Patchouli

Never had a product I didn't like from Fable Beard Co.! But, I was extremely excited for this scent because teakwood is one of my favorite smells on this planet, and I have mahogany teakwood scented candles, soaps, and more. With that being said, this scent was extremely underwhelming and my least favorite scent I own.

The Gunslinger!!

This stuff is amazing as usual with Fable! The scent evolves a bit from in bottle to in beard and is a very complex scent. I love this stuff. In my top 3 scents from Fable!

Not your father’s Patchouli

The Gunslinger was my first purchase from Fable. This has turned into now my fifth purchase from Fable as I love the unique scent profiles. I chose the Gunslinger because I have always liked the smell of Patchouli as it reminds me of my father when I was younger. This though isn’t your father’s hippy smelling patchouli. The patchouli is the main scent profile, but is warmed and toned down with the mahogany and teakwood scents. The vanilla to me isn’t very noticeable. This is my daily go to in my beard routine as I have the oil, butter and co-wash. The scent lasts all day but tends to mellow out throughout the day, but I do still pick up on it when I wake up the next day. A great product!!
