Nice fall scent - i am not sure what actual apple butter smells like, but i would describe this as a candy-apple or apple pie scent. It's very sweet, which i dont typically prefer, but it's nice on occasion. As always, the quality of the product is good and i will probably buy another set towards the end of the year if i dont get bored of it.......or maybe try the cider master instead.
