The dollmaker butter smells a little funky. It kind of smells like plastic, which may be what they were going for. Smells like what you think an old toy doll would smell like. I didnt get any sweet butterscotch or buttered rum scents from it. I had purchased the oil a year ago and it smelled a little better for sure.
