The scent is described as “evergreen wreath, pine boughs, and spiced apples”. In actuality, it’s Glade apple scented air freshener and NOT in a good way. The scent was extremely strong in the tin so I used an extremely small amount in the hope that the scent would dissipate a little once applied. It didn’t. The scent was so strong that it made my eyes water and gave me a headache. All the other reviews have been good, so maybe I got a bad batch. If not, then maybe I just have an extremely sensitive nose.
Fable offers a “risk free guarantee” on their products, but good luck contacting their customer service. I sent multiple emails asking to have this scent replaced without reply. They finally replied a week later and asked what I’d like to replace Krampus with (they claimed they didn’t receive any of my past emails). I emailed them back immediately and of course, no reply. I won’t be doing business with them again & will advise others to do the same.

Hands down, Krampus is the best scent. Years ago I gave my husband the beard oil Krampus, which was nice. He then bought the beard balm, and that was by far my favorite scent. The beard butter is even better (I never thought that possible!). It smells fresher somehow! A little goes a long way and the scent is stronger than the other mediums. It's not overwhelming either, he just enters a room and the refreshing woodsy scent follows him. The beard butter makes his beard extra soft and touchable. Also does not have the residue that the beard balms can leave. Very happy with this purchase and I may have convinced my husband to integrate more beard butters into his beard care. Wonderful as always. We always try to buy a year supply of Krampus in the winter. if it's ever discontinued I may cry.
I have started to really fall in love with the entire brands product. Always high-quality, always well thought out smells, and always treated like my purchase matters. I love supporting small companies and will continue to do so.
