Although when the balm is first applied, I can smell a very subtle hint of fresh donuts, it goes away pretty quickly. The prevailing scent is warm vanilla. It is still VERY pleasant and I love it. The balm also does a great job of controlling my goatee without it feeling greasy or dirty. I would definitely buy this again!
