One of the best scents out there! Woodsy, fresh and clean scent. Glad to get more!
When The Marksman returned to the lineup, I ordered it immediately. The Pine, Cedar, and Sandalwood notes remind me of walking through the forest here in Oregon, and the Mosses and Amber intensify the feeling. The scent is nice and light, which I prefer over the heavier scents. The Marksman gets heavy use in my rotation!
Bone products are fantastic for a little add in later in the day to brighten up the current scent you have in your beard. This sent surprised me with great delight.
I picked this one up in one of their BOGO deals after reading the scent notes. The more I use it, the more it grows on me. If you've used their balms you already know they're great so no need for me to elaborate on that. If you haven't, they're great! Find you a scent and enjoy.
The scent itself is slightly pine forward but we'll blended with the other notes. The sandalwood and amber offer the scent a nice warm base but is kept from dominating the scent by the addition of the soft mosses. The scent is safe (and will be used) year round and great for home or office. But the pine note offers more versatility in the cooler months IMO.
If you like colognes and aftershave as I do you will find it pairs well with warmer scents. More so if it's a lightly woody, earthy style scent. Pitralon Classic accented it nicely.
